Madonna and Guy seek to bury break-up rumors with show of togetherness

Madonna and Guy Ritchie put on a united front last night in an effort to quash rampant rumours their marriage is in trouble.

The couple linked arms as the arrived for an intimate dinner at their favourite haunt, Harry’s Bar & Grill in London’s Mayfair.

It’s the first time the pair have been photographed together since they visited India in early January.

It was the second night out in a row for Madonna - she dined with her close friend Gwyneth Paltrow at Locanda Locatelli restaurant on Monday evening.

Sources claim the couple, who married in 2000, are increasing living separate lives, with Ritchie’s father John revealing: “They’re not spending any time together.”

He told Closer magazine: “Madonna is busy in America with the children, and Guy wants to stay in the UK. They won’t be spending Easter together either.”

Madonna’s spokesperson has hit back at the claims, insisting “all is well and wonderful in the Ritchie household.”

The representative added: “Though they were in different countries recently… the family are joyfully back together at home in London.”

The couple are parents to three children - Lourdes, 11, Rocco, 7, and David, 2, whom they are in the process of adopting.

Madonna is preparing for the April release of her new album Hard Candy, which features production by Pharrell Williams, Timbaland and Nate “Danja” Hills as well as an appearance by Justin Timberlake.

For his part, Guy has been working on his new film RocknRolla, which stars Thandie Newton and Gerard Butler.

Tina Fey rips Jon Stewart

COMEDY queen Tina Fey says that while she makes people laugh, political pundit Jon Stewart only makes them uncomfortable. Fey tells Reader’s Digest she prefers it when audience members laugh rather than applaud because, “You can prompt applause with a sign.” She added, “My friend Seth Meyers coined the term ‘clapter,’ which is when you do a political joke and people go, ‘Woo-hoo.’ It means they sort of approve but didn’t really like it that much. You hear a lot of that on [whispers] ‘The Daily Show.’ ”

Brittny Gastineau is a victim of identity theft

BRITTNY Gastineau, the reality TV star who’s now a staple on the Los Angeles scene, has been victimized by an identity thief who’s charging thousands on her credit card. A friend of Gastineau alerted Page Six to the situation, telling us, “a blond girl who drives around in a Mercedes in LA has charged $1,800 to Kitson and $5,000 to Saks Fifth Avenue” by claiming to be Gastineau’s assistant. “Brittny doesn’t have an assistant,” said the source, “so that’s why she’s so upset. They told her she ordered a Member’s Only jacket and some per fume from Kitson and shoes from Saks, but she hasn’t even been to Kitson in years.” Gastineau confirmed the story, telling us, “I haven’t gone through all the charges yet, but at least $7,000 [has] been charged. I’m going to file a police report, and this girl is going to jail. She’s shopping under my name at all these places - the idiot. She’s not even ordering the right sizes.”

Jimmy Kimmel on his ex-wife: I bought her engagement ring as Costco

DON’T get Jimmy Kimmel started on his ex-wife, Gina, who dumped him five years ago after 13 years of marriage and two kids. “I bought her engagement ring as Costco,” the late-night comic, who now dates Sarah Silverman, tells next month’s Elle. “It’s not as bad as it sounds; she picked it out. My only regret is that I spent $560 on it. I should have gone to Sam’s Club.” Ouch! Kimmel also recalls that Gina’s sex talk in the bedroom could be less than inspiring. “[She] once said something like, ‘OK! OK! I get it.’ ”

RECENTLY divorced Lindsay Price, 31, has found a new fling - 26-year-old Robert Buckley, her steamy, younger “Lipstick Jungle” co-star. Sources say they started dating recently and are “going out together all the time.” Price, whom our spies spotted snuggling with Buckley at Cowgirl in the West Village last week, divorced her producer husband, Shawn Piller, last year.

Heather Mills Named Miss USA Judge

Heather Mills will be a judge for the Miss USA pageant, Extra reports.

Mills, 40, was awarded $48.6 million in her divorce from ex-Beatle Paul McCartney on Monday. She reportedly dumped a glass of water on McCartney’s attorney, Fiona Shackleton, after the hearing was over.

Both Mills and Marie Osmond, a cohost of Miss USA with brother Donny, are former contestants of Dancing With the Stars.

The pageant will air from Las Vegas on April 11.

Arrest Warrant Issued for Actor Shia LaBeouf

An arrest warrant has been issued for Shia LaBeouf, TMZ.com reports.

Neither the actor nor his attorney attended a scheduled court appearance this morning in LA regarding LaBeouf’s misdemeanor charge for unlawful smoking in Burbank on February 18, TMZ reports.

A $1,000 bench warrant was issued for his arrest, according to TMZ.

The 21-year-old was arrested for trespassing in a Chicago pharmacy back in November. That charge was later dropped.

Heath Ledgers Family Feuds Over his Estate

Heath Ledger’s uncles are speaking out against his father Kim’s handling of the actor’s assets, saying Kim has a bad track record of estate management.

Ledger’s father so mishandled the management of their grandfather’s estate 15 years ago in Australia that Kim was removed as executor, the uncles claim.

“It plunged into enormous debt,” Mike Ledger, one of Kim’s brothers, tells PEOPLE.

Heath died in January at age 28 of an accidental mixture of prescription drugs – leaving behind a daughter, Matilda, by his ex, actress Michelle Williams. His will, written before his relationship with Williams, leaves everything to his parents and sisters.

Ledger’s uncle Mike insists the family has nothing to gain by removing Kim: “Our only vested interest is to assure that Matilda is well looked after.”

Mike added that Kim’s recent statement that Matilda “will be taken care of” was not enough assurance. “When you are talking about large sums of money like this,” he says, “it should be an independent executor, but Kim hasn’t chosen that way.”

Williams’s Father Raises Questions
Another of Kim’s brothers, Hayden, tells PEOPLE that Williams’s father, Larry, asked him if Kim was capable of managing the actor’s estate. “I just said, ‘No, not if he handles it like ours,’ ” he says.

The bitter dispute among the brothers dates back more than 15 years, when Kim became an executor of their grandfather Sir Frank Ledger’s estate, which they estimate was worth about $2 million in the mid 1980s. The family patriarch was a respected engineer in Perth.

According to the newspaper The Australian, Frank’s daughters filed a motion in Supreme Court asking to have Kim removed as the executor. The submission to the court stated that Kim’s handling of his grandfather’s estate “placed the assets at risk.” A report in Australia’s The Sunday Times says that a Supreme Court judge eventually removed Kim from overseeing the estate.

Ledger Family Friend Defends Kim
Robert John Collins – an Australian executor of Heath’s will who has known the Ledger family for 30 years – said last week that Mike and Hayden’s allegations about Kim were “rubbish.”

Kim and his brothers have remained estranged since the dispute. In fact, Mike says that 17 family members weren’t even invited to attend Heath’s memorial and funeral in Perth.

“I’m his godfather,” Mike says. “We didn’t even have the ability or the opportunity to pay our last respects to Heath. And I tell you, that is terrible – that is so sad.”
