The Aussie actress hosted a party the other night during Los Angeles fashion week for Bobi clothing, looking hot in a skintight black dress. “She wasn’t sobbing in the corner,” said our spy, who spotted Monk at the Whiskey Blue LA. “She was out there dancing and partying and having a blast.” Meanwhile, Madden has been getting serious with heir-head Paris Hilton.

While the celebrity magazines scramble for photos of them holding hands, our spies down south have seen the duo two nights in a row. Monday, Hudson and Wilson “ate off each other’s plates” at Casa Tua. “They were dining with another couple, and she was in a bathing suit and cover-up even though it was 10 p.m.,” said our source. Tuesday night, the reuniting blondes dined at Michael’s Genuine.

HIP-hop producer and gangsta rapper Dr. Dre couldn’t keep it in his pants as a teenager. “One day I received that phone call - the call that all moms of teenagers dread,” Dre’s mother, Verna Griffin, writes in her upcoming memoir, “Long Road Outta Compton.” Just 17, Dre (real name: Andre Young) had been secretly seeing 16-year-old Lisa Johnson. “Lisa’s mom called me to inform me that Andre had been sneaking over to their home and Lisa was now pregnant,” Griffin relates. “When I asked her if she was sure that it was Andre who had been with Lisa, she got very upset. She said, ‘If I had come home and caught that n - - - - r in my house, you would have been picking him up in a box.’ Needless to say, the conversation went down from there.” But Griffin stood her ground, telling the irate mother, “My son didn’t break in your house and rape your daughter; she let him in, which makes her just as much as fault as he is.” In January 1983, Johnson gave birth to Dre’s first child, La Tonya Danielle, although the two never married.

SEN. Hillary Clinton has an unwanted backer in her race for the presidency - Dennis Hof, owner of Nevada’s Moonlight Bunny Ranch brothel. On Internet radio show “Dr. Blogstein’s Radio Happy Hour,” Hof said, “It’s amazing to me that there is one woman in America who would not vote for her. Whether you like Hillary or not, this is going to change the women’s movement in America.” A man who runs a whorehouse must know how much the women’s movement needs changing. We wondered if Clinton would distance herself from Hof the way Sen. Barack Obama stiff-armed Louis Farrakhan, but her people didn’t reply.

Jay-Z, who left his position as president of Def Jam to be an entrepreneur last year, is apparently asking “way too much,” an insider said. “He wants a label to give him $100 million for the Carter Music Group and provide for overhead, development and digital investment. It’s crazy. He wants the labels to basically be his venture capital fund - but unlike a venture cap, they won’t get 50 percent. This is not the ’90s anymore.” A rep for Jay-Z, who is branching out into hotels and bars, called this account “rumors.”
